Here's MY take home chef. I have to admit he looks so hot in a chef's coat. And we're not eating so good when he travels :( Miss you hunny!
Ok, on to weird souvenirs. As most of you might know, Davin really enjoys watching the Food Network channel and in last few months he watched a show called "A Cook's Tour" with host Anthony Bourdain (hard on the eyes, at least for me, it took time for me to get used to watching this guy). Anyway, on one of Tony's trips, he goes to Seattle and shows this Italian sandwich shop where the guy makes his own sausages and hangs them out to cure the meat.
SOoooo, Davin was in Seattle last week and he sure enough went to that shop, waited in line for over an hour and ate there. AND, brought me home a coppa dry sausage. Which looks like this.
BUT, there is a story behind this particular purchase. 7 years ago, when we went to Argentina, we bought a lot of dry salami and other dry sausages on our way to the airport coming home. But sadly, they were ALL confiscated at customs in LAX. (those hungry TSA officers!)So, my sweet husband remembered this and thought this would make up for it. It did :)

Yum! My favorite part is the baby monitor off to the side! Gotta love a guy who can cook up a meal and listen for a crying baby at the same time!

I had a hard time watch the Anthony guy because he eats such disgusting stuff, but it is a very interesting show!
Hey have you seen the show Diners Drive In's and Dives with Guy Fietti (sp?) Anyways, he went to a place in Portland that John and I want to try... we should go together sometime!
Speaking of TV, did I tell you that The Mole is being filmed all in Argentina this season?
It's half over already, but you should DVR it, they have gone all over the place and it's so beautiful!
Copa is my favorite !!! Man has "your man" got great taste!! Just look in the mirror if you need more proof.
