My First Panollage

Just attended a Photoshop seminar last week. I couldn't wait to get home and practice what I've learned!
Here's my first attempt at a panollage (panorama collage).

My Valentine

This one's for you, hunny. Because YOU are the best thing ever happened to me. Life is wonderful with you! (even when it's not perfect)

Miss Sunshine

This is 4 yr old Claudia, she is a little ray of sunshine, twirling princess and loving little "mommy". She is the daughter of my good friend Becki and her husband Steve. She is as sweet as cotton candy and right now, she is very sick. She was diagnosed with A.L.L. type of Leukemia just days ago.

BUT GOD IS GOOD!!! There is a lot of good in this awful situation and we covet your prayers.

You can read her updates and specific prayer requests here:

Some sick joke

Here is our Christmas tree.

90% of the lights don't light up.

There are over 20 connectors in there and I don't have the energy to figure out the many combination possibilities.

Davin isn't home.

Kids are getting impatient and want to put ornaments on the tree. Mom's getting cranky.

Got 3 other strings of lights that we could wrap around our "lighted" tree.

None of them work.

I think it's bedtime.

Maybe I'll read them a Christmas story.

Maybe we'll see that our light deprived tree is nothing compared to trying to find a place to deliver a baby in the middle of the night.

Nothing compared to laying down on itchy hay with smelly cows and painful contractions.

Nothing compared to everything wonderful about that night when MY KING was born.

So I sit and look at our tree (which I first thought of as a sick joke by whoever designed this plug system for it). Now, I can look at it and be reminded of Jesus, the light of our world and that's enough for me.

No matter how many parts of my tree are broken and damaged and imperfect, His light is enough.

He has come to meet me here. He was born to die so that one day I could pray for Him to save my life.

Isaac "Jackson"

This here would be the one and only Isaac. Our shining star. Who makes us smile and entertains us constantly. He's probably watched the "king of pop" a handful of times, but has picked up many of his "moves". (Isaac's in the plaid shirt and tie, hat on. The other guy dancing is another kid's dad)
Oh, and this was at the Party after Opening Night for his CYT HSM2 play.

What Time Is It?

Time to relax, time to have fun, time to sit back and enjoy the show.
Time to boost Isaac's immune system as he's in this Fall's CYT Production of High School Musical 2.

With shows back to back today and tomorrow and an outstanding Opening Night show last night, the cast and crew are a bit exhausted but still enthusiastic. As they should since they have yet another whole weekend of shows next week and two mid week shows for school students.

OPENING NIGHT PICTURES

And a video to come soon!

Around our home

I've been enjoying taking pictures and playing with Photoshop lately. These are some pictures from our home. And a big THANK YOU to Uncle Pete for the yummy cookies...almost too pretty to eat...almost.

Yesterday, we had the privilege to go to Steph's Harvest Party. She is such a great hostess!! The boyz were super excited to get to dress up for the party. They painted jars, played games, frosted cookies and ate lots of candy. The kids had so much fun, and Steph set up a little photo booth outside and took pictures of all the kids. Thank you so much, they turned out GREAT!
